Supporting children and families who navigate sensory differences — through a lens of understanding, not diagnosis.
I completed the Level 1 Intensive Mentorship Program at the STAR Institute for Sensory Processing (formerly the SPD Foundation) in Colorado, training under Lucy Jane Miller, PhD OTR and other professionals in the field.
That training shaped the way I see children. I'm attentive to sensory differences and factor them into my coaching — recognizing how sensory challenges can affect a child's ability to connect socially, regulate emotions, and participate in everyday life.
I don't evaluate or treat sensory processing disorder. But when sensory differences are part of a child's picture, that understanding is woven into how I work with them and their family.
Sensory-aware coaching can be part of the Social Skills Coaching Program or through individual parent coaching sessions — helping you develop strategies that work in real settings like home, school, and the community.
Many of the children I work with have sensory sensitivities that aren't formally diagnosed — and that's okay. You don't need a diagnosis to benefit from working with someone who understands how the sensory world affects your child's social and emotional experience.
